Hope Brigade Legacy Society
Many of our friends have made a gift the The Salvation Army in their estate plans but haven't had the opportunity to tell us. Our hearts are gladdened when we hear such news! We are grateful for your faith and trust in The Salvation Army!
Honoring legacy donors
Because our legacy donors make such an incredible impact for The Salvation Army and the people it serves, we've established a special society to honor them. The Hope Brigade is an honorary organization composed of individuals who have made provisions for a legacy gift through a bequest, beneficiary designation, life insurance, annuity, or trust arrangement.
Donors who plan a gift to support the mission of The Salvation Army are considered voluntary members of the Hope Brigade to honor their philanthropy. However, names are never made public unless permission is granted by the donor. All details of gifts are considered strictly confidential.
Benefits of joining
Donors receive several benefits for being named in the Hope Brigade, including:
- Periodic updates from the Indiana Division
- A special relationship with The Salvation Army and Hope Brigade members
- Invitations to key events from your local Salvation Army
- Distinguished recognition of your commitment
Informing The Salvation Army of legacy planned gifts is important for the organization's long-term planning purposes. Knowledge of your gift will help support the future programs and services that will meet the greatest needs of those in your community. Most importantly, recognition in the Hope Brigade encourages others to make their own legacy gift, thereby increasing the impact of The Salvation Army and its mission.
